Where did you find your bean?

Where are you growing your bean?

What is your connection to the bean? Why did you choose this particular bean?
The grower is from Ireland, emigrated to Boston and later to Canada. Many of my ancestors also immigrated from Ireland to the US (New York). The only beans I recall eating while growing up were lima and green beans, and the occasional black bean. When I asked my parents about beans they ate or my grandparents ate they responded with fava beans, but otherwise the same as above. I thought I would choose a bean that has traveled a path similar to my ancestry.
